A modder merged GTA III and Vice City into San Andreas

A user named Dryxio has created a large-scale modification for the classic Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. His project, titled GTA III & Vice City in San Andreas, allows players to launch and fully play the two previous installments in the series, GTA III and Vice City, directly within the San Andreas game world.

Each ported game runs on its own original engine, preserving all key elements: separate story campaigns, unique gameplay, a save system, and custom control settings. To begin the game, protagonist CJ can either approach the TV in his home or use the arcade machines scattered throughout the game world.

The mod is available for download on the dedicated GTA Stuff resource. The author has also published a detailed video tutorial explaining the installation and launch process.
