Ubisoft is preparing a breakout update for The Crew Motorfest ahead of the release of its Forza Horizon 6 competitor

Ubisoft announced the ninth season of its arcade racing game, The Crew Motorfest, which begins on March 5th. The developers are banking on a major content update to strengthen the game's position ahead of the anticipated release of Forza Horizon 6. The key addition will be a new island location, a gigantic car amusement park with an emphasis on insane stunts and freedom of movement.

However, the highlight of the season promises to be the TrackForge track editor, which the team has been working on for a year and a half. This feature allows players to create their own racetracks of any complexity and configuration—from professional racetracks to the most unusual and creative projects imaginable. Ubisoft has published a video showcasing the capabilities of the new tool, featuring everything from realistic racetracks to completely fantastical, floating routes.

Created tracks can be shared with other players, creating an additional layer of content and significantly extending the lifespan of the project.
