Rockstar turned its offices into Area 51 to protect GTA VI from leaks

In anticipation of the title's release, Rockstar Games management has implemented unprecedented security measures to prevent any information leaks. This was revealed by insider KiwiTalkz, known for interviewing game creators. According to him, the studio is now "completely locked down" and resembles the legendary Area 51 in terms of secrecy and security.

This paranoia on the part of management is understandable: fans, exhausted by years of waiting and the lack of official materials, are resorting to the most extreme methods to obtain information. It is reported that particularly zealous enthusiasts are attempting to break into the company's offices using fake employee IDs and are even flying drones near Rockstar buildings at night in the hopes of capturing footage through the glass.

The company itself traditionally remains silent and has not commented on either insider statements or fan attempts to uncover treasured secrets. However, the very fact that security has been so significantly strengthened indirectly confirms that the developers have learned from the high-profile 2022 leak, when dozens of videos featuring an early build of the game appeared online. Despite circulating rumors of potential delays, the crime action game's official release date remains unchanged—it will go on sale on November 19, 2026, and Rockstar is doing everything possible to keep the surprises in store until then.
