Nubia is preparing the Neo 5 GT gaming smartphone with active cooling and a powerful battery

Nubia has announced the imminent release of a new device aimed at mobile gamers: the Nubia Neo 5 GT. The device's unveiling is timed to coincide with MWC 2026, which will take place from March 2nd to 5th. The official teaser image shows a fan, clearly indicating the presence of an active cooling system, crucial for extended gaming sessions.

Insider raihanhann129 published detailed specifications and renders of the upcoming device ahead of the official announcement. Judging by the images, the smartphone will feature gaming triggers on the side, a minimal-bezel display, and a dual rear camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor. It will be powered by a Unisoc T9100 processor, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and fast UFS 3.1 storage.

The Neo 5 GT will feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The refresh rate will reach 120 Hz, and the peak brightness will reach 1200 nits, ensuring comfortable viewing even on bright sunny days. A 6000 mAh battery with 80-watt charging support allows for extended gaming sessions without being plugged into a power outlet.

The sound system features stereo speakers supporting DTS:X Ultra technology, and a linear vibration motor provides haptic feedback. At launch, the device will be available in three colors: white, black, and yellow. Pricing has not yet been disclosed, but its positioning suggests it will compete with other gaming models in the mid-price segment.
