Lenovo unveiled the Legion Go Fold concept portable console with a foldable screen
Lenovo unveiled the innovative Lenovo Legion Go Fold portable gaming console concept at an exhibition. The device is currently in early prototype form, and release dates and pricing have not yet been announced.
When folded, the device is compact and easy to transport, featuring a 7.7-inch display. When unfolded vertically, additional space opens up, allowing for additional information, such as in-game chat or a video player. When fully unfolded and rotated 90 degrees, the display expands to an impressive 11.6 inches, transforming the console into a small tablet.

The key feature of the new device is the flexibility of not only the display but also the control system. The detachable controllers can be attached to any of the four sides of the device, allowing for the most convenient configuration. A special plastic module allows both controllers to be combined into a single, traditional gamepad. The right controller can also be used as a vertical mouse, opening up additional possibilities for certain game genres.
The hardware is based on an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor with integrated Intel Arc 140V graphics. 32 gigabytes of LPDDR5x RAM, and a terabyte of PCIe 4.0 storage provides ample space for gaming. A 48-watt-hour battery powers the entire 868-gram device. Whether this impressive concept will make it to production remains to be seen.
