A streamer estimates the fair price of GTA VI at $800
In the lead-up to Grand Theft Auto VI's November release, debates about the long-awaited blockbuster's possible price continue in the gaming community. While pre-orders haven't officially opened and Rockstar remains silent, players and analysts are speculating on how much the new installment in the iconic series will exceed the usual price range of sixty to seventy dollars. Many agree that the base version could cost eighty or even one hundred dollars, setting a new standard for the AAA industry.

However, popular streamer xQc, known for his outrageous style and bold statements, has proposed a radically different approach to pricing. He believes that if the product is assessed objectively, based on market conditions, the scope of the content offered, and the unique quality of its development, a fair price for Grand Theft Auto VI should be no less than eight hundred dollars. The streamer emphasized that this isn't just a subjective opinion or a provocation, but an attempt to look at the situation from the perspective of price and value.
The blogger explained that modern players are accustomed to a certain price ceiling, but the scale and level of detail that Rockstar Games traditionally offers are incomparable to the vast majority of other projects. According to his logic, if the market dictated prices solely by the quality and quantity of content, GTA VI would indeed cost ten times more than typical new releases. Of course, xQc understands that such a price will never be achieved, otherwise the game would become inaccessible to a mass audience.
