Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri said the app will begin testing the Take a Break option this week. She will be able to inform the user about the need to take a break from using the application after a certain time after being in it. The functionality of the option will also be limited in its influence on the owner of the smartphone.
The company's desire to implement this function on Instagram was discussed back in October. In a post on Twitter, Mosseri noted that Take a Break will be available to a limited number of users. Full access to the option will be implemented in the near future.

We started testing a new feature called “Take a Break” this week. This opt-in control enables you to receive break reminders in-app after a duration of your choosing.
I’m excited to dig into the results & hopefully launch this sometime in December. ✌🏼 pic.twitter.com/WdSTjL6ZdH
