Android 13 could get streaming function
More and more fresh information about Android 13 appears on the web. This time, insiders posted screenshots of Google's internal documentation, which describes how the MTT (Tap to Transfer) function works. This option will make it possible to move files from a mobile device to third-party devices for one-touch playback.

Judging by the images presented, the principle of MTT in the upcoming Android OS will be similar to the function of switching streaming playback from iPhone to Homepods smart speakers. The option will provide seamless switching between devices if the smartphone is at a short distance from them.

MTT is supposed to use NFC and UWB modules. This ensures the most accurate positioning and communication with paired devices. Also, according to unconfirmed reports, the function will operate on Google Cast technology and will be compatible with Nest smart speakers.

The first beta versions of the system for developers are expected very soon.
