The game series of racing car simulators has always been famous for its ultra-realism, and this applies not only to the visuals. To demonstrate the realism of what is happening on the screen, the creators of the new part of the franchise released two interesting trailers.
The developers decided to compare the race on a real track with a virtual race. For this, the Willow Springs International Raceway track was chosen, located in California and having an analogue in the simulator. For comparison, the authors invited well-known experts. Racing driver Dai Yoshihara drove around the track in a Tesla Model 3 Performance electric car, while Steve Brown, a popular gamer known as Super GT, drove the same car around the track already in the game.
After the creators made two videos: in the first, both races were shown without comment, and in the other, the experts shared interesting details of the action shown on the screen.
Gran Turismo 7 will release on March 4th. The racing simulator will be exclusive to PS4 and PS5.
