Microsoft Edge moved from second place in the ranking of Apple's Safari browsers, as evidenced by a recent study by the analytical portal StatCounter.
The results of the statistical report show that the most popular browser is still Google Chrome with a reach of 66.64%. Microsoft Edge climbed to second place for the first time with a share of 10.07%. Apple's Safari dropped to third place, standing at 9.62%.
Mozilla Firefox and Opera also made it to the top five with 7.87% and 2.44% respectively. Other browsers collectively account for just under one percent.
According to experts, in the foreseeable future, Google Chrome is unlikely to give up its leading position. However, we can't help but note the progress of Microsoft Edge, which scored more than two points compared to last year's figures of 8% of the total market share.
