Chinese sources claim that the new chip based on the 3nm process technology will not be released by Qualcomm or even MediaTek.
Samsung's Exynos 2300 will be the first 3nm mobile chip on the market. According to the information presented, the chipset will be more energy efficient than the previous model, and its architecture will include ARM-cores of the central processor and a graphics accelerator from AMD. As for the performance figures, there is no data on this yet.
Apparently, the Exynos 2300, codenamed Quadra, will debut in the flagship model Galaxy S23, which should be presented in the 1st half of 2023. Also, the new smartphone will be released for other regions in a variant with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Samsung has not yet commented on information about the new chipset.
