Google has changed the payment terms in its company store. The company also reduced the commission
Working conditions have been changed in the countries of the European Economic Area. Creators of non-gaming software will now be able to offer additional services and options with payment through third-party payment systems. The commission will remain, but will be reduced compared to the standard tariff plan.

Google has released a statement about the changes on its official website. The text of the press release states that today, up to 99 percent of developers are eligible for a service rebate of up to 15%. Also, when using alternative billing for users from the European Economic Area, attracted through a branded market, the amount will be reduced to 12%.

Google also says that when switching to other payment methods, software developers must ensure the protection of user data. The Google Play payment system will still be required for games distributed within the European Economic Area, as well as for all software outside of it.

At the moment, according to information from Google, in the European Union, the Android ecosystem supports over 1.1 million jobs. The total revenue of Android app developers last year was $7.9 billion.
