An authoritative insider has published the specifications of the Google Pixel Fold
Chinese reviewer Digital Chat Station posted the specifications and information about the appearance of the first foldable device from Google.
The source claims that Google Pixel Fold will receive two screens: an external 2K display with an AMOLED matrix and a round window for the front camera, as well as an internal display with a vertical folding panel. A new proprietary Tensor 2 chipset will appear on board the device.
The smartphone camera will have three modules: a main 50-megapixel sensor, an auxiliary 64-megapixel sensor with a Sony IMX787 sensor, and a telephoto camera with a periscope. One of the body materials will be ceramics. The well-known Taiwanese OEM-company Foxconn will be responsible for the production of the device.
Google itself has yet to announce the Pixel Fold. It is possible that the device will be presented in the fall along with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
