The Chinese vendor Colorful posted on its official website the specifications and design of the new gaming video card.
The device is based on the AD104 GPU. It will get 12 GB of GDDR6X video RAM with a 192-bit bus (with a memory bandwidth of 504 GB/s). The default GPU clock speed is 2310 MHz. The vendor did not specify the number of CUDA cores, but it can be assumed that there will be 7680, since the novelty is in fact a canceled RTX 4080 (12 GB) video card.
The Colorful RTX 4070 Ti has a relatively low power consumption of up to 285W, but the device is equipped with a proprietary 16-pin power connector, rather than the traditional 2x8-pin. Three 98 mm coolers are responsible for cooling the video card. For more efficient heat dissipation, one of the fans blows through the heatsink, which is typical for the reference version of the video card.
The timing of the start of sales of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is still unknown. It is assumed that the video card should be presented (actually again) on January 5 at the CES 2023 exhibition event.
