Mobile GeForce RTX 4080 proved to be much better than its predecessor
A new discrete graphics card from NVIDIA has been spotted in the Geekbench benchmark as part of the Acer Predator PH16-71 gaming laptop with some pretty impressive results.
According to the information provided, the video card is based on the AD104 GPU with 58 calculation units (7424 CUDA cores). It has 12 GB GDDR6 RAM. The maximum clock frequency of the device is 2.01 GHz, the raw performance reaches 29.7 Tflops. In combination with the Intel Core i9-13900HX chip (24 cores), the video card managed to achieve 178038 points in OpenCL. The result shows that the new graphics card is faster than the mobile RTX 3080 and RTX 3080 Ti by 42% and 30% respectively.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 line will be presented at the upcoming CES 2023 event.
