The second property is due to the presence of an anode coating with a ceramic composition. Also, an important feature of solid-state batteries is the specific capacity of up to 1000 Wh/l, while for Li-ion batteries this figure is at the level of 693 Wh/l.
According to insider information, Xiaomi has already tested new batteries in its Xiaomi 13 smartphones. The increased capacity made it possible to equip the mobile device with a 6000 mAh battery instead of the standard 4500 mAh. And this is without increasing the size.
It is not yet known when the development will begin to be fully implemented in the brand's devices.
