GTA Remaster Developers Busy Working on New Unannounced Project
Grove Street Games, the studio known for the controversial remaster of GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition, is working on a new title, about which there is no official information yet.
According to information published on the LinkedIn page of the company's executive producer Jordan Klieman, the project is being developed for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. A source from Tech4Gamers suggests that we are talking about a remaster of GTA 4, although the likelihood of this is low. The situation is complicated by the recent conflict between Grove Street Games and Rockstar: the latter removed all mentions of the company from GTA Trilogy materials and stopped following its account on the X social network (formerly Twitter).
In addition to the release of GTA Trilogy, Grove Street Games was also busy porting the multiplayer game ARK: Survival Evolved to Android, iOS and Nintendo Switch. The new project will likely be their first major release after disagreements with Rockstar. Information about the plot, genre or announcement date is not yet available.
