According to the report from December 31, its total circulation reached 150.86 million units, and in the last quarter, another 4.82 million consoles were sold, which is 30% more than a year earlier.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains the flagship among games, having sold 67.35 million copies. Of the latest releases, Super Mario Party Jamboree achieved the best result, having managed to reach the 6.1 million sales mark.
Switch currently ranks third among the most successful gaming systems. PlayStation 2 (160 million) and Nintendo DS (154 million) remain ahead.
Meanwhile, Nintendo is preparing for the release of Switch 2, which is scheduled for 2025. The company promises to reveal details about the new console in April.
