A gameplay recording of the upcoming blockbuster from closed testing organized by EA has appeared on the Reddit platform. The video shows the Battery map - an urban location with dense buildings and narrow streets, where players fight in the classic Capture mode.
In the leaked video, you can see several new mechanics. Now soldiers can do somersaults to dodge bullets, as well as evacuate wounded allies from under fire. The shooter does not have an official name yet, but the map design and the lack of futuristic elements confirm that the developers have decided to return to more traditional gameplay. This especially pleased fans after the controversial Battlefield 2042.
The first leaks of the gameplay appeared back in March 2025 during closed beta tests. According to the footage, the new Battlefield remains true to the signature style of the series - large-scale battles, detailed maps and a destruction system have not disappeared.
According to unconfirmed information, the game will be released before April 2026, but EA is not yet disclosing details.
