Take-Two Bans Modder Who Ported GTA VI Map to GTA V
Take-Two continues to fight fan projects related to GTA VI. Recently, the work of modder Dark Space, who recreated the map of the future game in GTA V, was blocked.
The modification was created based on leaks and materials from the official trailer, which did not go unnoticed by copyright holders. The company's lawyers filed several complaints about the author's content on YouTube, after which he decided to stop working, fearing further action from Take-Two.
Later, the modder released a video in which he expressed dissatisfaction with the company's decision, but also admitted that the map he created could violate Rockstar's commercial interests. He suggested that the reason for the blocking was the participation in the project of a community of fan cartographers who analyze leaked data and recreate the geography of the game world.
