The South Korean automaker has unveiled the concept of its new electric car, Insteroid, inspired by video game aesthetics and various sports cars. The unusual design and attention to sustainable materials make the model a bright statement for the future of urban transport.

Insteroid is based on the serial electric car Inster, but has been radically rethought: it uses aggressive aerodynamic elements, including a massive spoiler, futuristic wheels and dynamic LED lighting, which emphasizes the “gamer” character of the car.

The interior design of the concept emphasizes the environmental focus of the brand. The trim is made of 3D knitted material created on the basis of recycled raw materials. Thus, Insteroid demonstrates Hyundai's desire to combine the design of the future and care for the environment.

The official premiere of the car will take place at the Seoul Mobility Show 2025, which will be held from April 3 to 13. Visitors will be able to personally get acquainted with the concept and appreciate its unique appearance.

Insteroid also serves as a platform for the Inster line. After a successful start in South Korea and Europe, Hyundai plans to expand sales geography in 2025 to the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Latin American markets.
