Diablo IV Prepares to Launch New Season 'Sins of the Horadrim'

Blizzard has announced details of the upcoming major update for Diablo IV. The ninth season, called "Sins of the Horadrim," will start on July 1 and will be available to all owners of the game at no additional cost.

The storyline will be based on the return of Astaroth, one of the key antagonists of the original game. Players will have to team up with the druid Briona to prevent the impending disaster. In addition to the new narrative, the update will bring several significant changes to the gameplay.



The developers paid special attention to the character leveling system. Now players will be able to experiment with new combinations of skills using special enchantments. These artifacts are created from three components, each of which determines the basic effect, the type of elemental damage, and an additional property. Another innovation will be the Horadric shrines - special zones inside nightmarish dungeons where you can get valuable rewards.

The Sins of the Horadrim update continues Diablo IV's tradition of regular content additions that have kept the game alive more than two years after its release. Players can expect the season to launch in early July.
