EA FC 26 Brings Back Mexican League With Exclusive Clubs

Ahead of the release of EA FC 26, information has emerged about the return of the Mexican Liga MX to the football simulator, which has been absent from the series recently. The four leading clubs of the championship - Club America, Chivas, Monterrey and Tigres - will become exclusive partners of the football simulator, which will exclude their appearance in competitive projects like eFootball.

The agreement with Liga MX is designed for five years, which guarantees the presence of the Mexican championship in the series at least until EA FC 30. For complete immersion, the developers will add scans of the players of these teams, their real stadiums, as well as signature anthems and chants of fans.



The return of Liga MX will create new difficulties for fans of the career mode. Previously, key Mexican footballers who played for the national team were free agents, which allowed them to be signed without transfer payments. With the introduction of a full-fledged league, this option will disappear, which will change the approach to building a roster in career mode.
