Ford unveils electric car ad in GTA 6 trailer style

American automaker Ford has released a commercial for the new Capri electric crossover, inspired by the style of the first GTA 6 trailer. The material contains references to the legendary game franchise - a goat wandering around a store, an elderly woman with two gamepads and other scenes reproduced in a recognizable "amateur" manner flash in the frame.



Particular attention was drawn to the end of the video, where Ford indicated the release date of the car in August 2025, while crossing out May 2026 - the official release date of GTA 6. The gaming community immediately noted the irony of the situation, joking that "GTA from Ford" will be released before the original game.

It remains unknown how the developers from Rockstar and publisher Take-Two, known for their strict position on copyright protection, will react to this parody. GTA VI is scheduled to release on May 26, 2026, exclusively for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
