Leak Reveals Plot Details of New Battlefield 6 About the Battle of Gibraltar

Alleged details of the upcoming Battlefield story campaign, obtained by data miners from Battlefield Labs files, have appeared online. According to the leak, players will have to take part in a large-scale military operation to liberate Gibraltar from the forces of the mysterious organization "Pax Armata" as part of the special squad Dagger 1-3. The campaign will include a variety of missions - from landing on the beach and demining the water area to storming historical siege tunnels and neutralizing enemy air defense systems.

After the closure of Ridgeline Games and the departure of Marcus Leto, co-author of Halo, the development of the story mode was allegedly transferred to Motive, a studio known for the remake of Dead Space. Electronic Arts previously confirmed that the new Battlefield will be released before March 2026, and according to insiders, the release may take place as early as fall 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The official announcement of the project is expected in the coming months.

Part of the leak is indirectly confirmed by previously published concept art from EA, but the company has not yet commented on the information. The project is already shrouded in rumors of internal conflicts, production delays, and a record budget.
