ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X Portable Consoles Leaked Ahead of Release

The Spanish publication 3D Juegos has discovered accidentally published retail prices on Google for the upcoming portable consoles ASUS ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, developed jointly with Microsoft. According to the data that the search engine displayed in the quick access card to the ASUS store, the junior model will cost 599 euros, and the flagship version of the Ally X - 899 euros.



Both consoles run a special version of Windows 11 optimized for gaming portable devices. The characteristics of the new products have already been officially disclosed earlier, including the differences in performance and memory between the basic and premium versions. Despite the leaked pricing policy, the exact date of the start of sales remains unknown - according to unconfirmed information, the release may take place as early as October 2024.

This incident became another example of premature disclosure of key details before the official announcement, which is especially typical for joint projects of large technology companies. Potential buyers are now interested in whether the announced prices will remain the same by the time sales begin, or whether ASUS will make adjustments after this information is published.
