Samsung is preparing a breakthrough in screens and cameras for the flagship Galaxy S26 series

The Galaxy S26 Ultra, the flagship model of the line, will receive a significant screen upgrade. Insider Ice Universe claims that the device will use an OLED display with CoE (Color filter on Encapsulation) technology. This system replaces the usual polarizer with a color filter and a special black layer, which makes the panel thinner, increases light transmission and reduces power consumption. In addition to this, the S26 Ultra will feature a new, third-generation anti-glare coating. It should significantly improve screen readability in bright daylight.

In turn, the Galaxy S26 Edge, which is rumored to combine the directions of the S25 Edge and S25 Plus models, will focus on updating the cameras. The biggest improvement will be the 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, which is several times larger than the 12-megapixel unit in the current S25 Edge and S25 Plus. This could be one of the biggest leaps in mobile photography in the Galaxy lineup in recent years.
