Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to macOS after five years with full support for Apple technologies

Five years after its initial release, the cult cyberpunk action game Cyberpunk 2077 will finally get an official version for macOS. Developers from CD Projekt RED announced that from July 17, the game will be available on Apple computers in the Ultimate Edition, which includes all updates and add-ons, including the large-scale Phantom Liberty.

Although enthusiasts could previously run the game on Mac via porting technologies, the official version offers full optimization for the "apple" ecosystem. The game received support for MetalFX and AMD FSR technologies to improve graphics, as well as a special adaptation for Apple's proprietary input devices - Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad. Minimum requirements include 16 GB of RAM, while the developers promise stable operation on all generations of Apple Silicon processors.
