GTA VI Could Break GTA V's Financial Records in Just Two Months
Financial analysts predict unprecedented commercial success of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI. According to Josh Chapman, managing partner of the investment company Konvoy, the new Rockstar Games game is capable of generating more revenue in the first two months after release than GTA V did in nine years of existence - the estimated amount is $7.66 billion.

The expert suggests that the developers will transform the project into a platform for user content similar to Roblox, which will significantly increase audience engagement and monetization opportunities. However, it is worth considering that such forecasts are tentative - other analysts, for example from DFC Intelligence, estimate the potential annual revenue more modestly, at $3.2 billion.
The difference in estimates is due to the unique situation on the gaming market and the features of the upcoming release. GTA VI will be released exclusively for next-generation consoles in 2026, and the PC version will appear later.
