Battlefield 6 Sets Steam Wishlist Addition Record

In just one weekend after the announcement, the new shooter Battlefield 6 was added to wishlists more than 500 thousand times on the Steam platform. According to the analytical company Alinea Analytics, this figure demonstrates a high level of player confidence in the upcoming release, especially against the background of the controversial reputation of the previous part of the series.

Interestingly, 60% of users who added the game to the wishlist had previously played Battlefield 2042, which indicates the return of part of the audience. Thanks to this surge in popularity, the project rose to 71 place in the top 100 most desired games on Steam. Expectations for the game are further fueled by leaks of gameplay materials, which were positively received by the community.

The release of Battlefield 6 is scheduled for October 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms. It is noteworthy that the developers decided not to include Russian localization in the final version of the product, which caused discussions among the Russian-speaking community. However, current figures show significant interest in the project worldwide.
