EA CEO Reveals Ambitious Plans for Battlefield 6 and Company Strategy
Insiders previously reported on the unprecedented budget for the development of Battlefield 6 and the huge hopes that Electronic Arts places on this project. Now the company's management has officially confirmed this data.
During the presentation of the financial report, EA CEO Andrew Wilson said that Battlefield 6 was the largest investment in the history of the franchise. The exact amount is not named, but according to informed sources, it could reach $400 million. Wilson also clarified that the project is conceived not just as a game, but as a full-fledged platform, the details of which will become known after the announcement scheduled for July 31.

EA's financial results show growth, although not as significant as last year. The company's net profit amounted to $201 million, largely due to the success of Apex Legends, as well as the mobile version of FIFA and F1 25, which showed results higher than expected. At the same time, Electronic Arts announced that there were no plans to raise prices for games to $80, since such a move was considered economically inexpedient.
