GTA Online is finally getting ready to introduce age verification — the first screenshots have appeared

Well-known insider Tez2, who specializes in leaks of information about Rockstar Games projects, published screenshots of the future age verification system in GTA Online. According to the images, to access the game, players will need to scan a QR code, which will presumably lead to an age verification page. At the moment, the functionality has not yet been implemented in the game, and the exact timing of its appearance remains unknown.

It is expected that age restrictions will be applied selectively - only in those countries where it is required by law. Among the first such regions may be the UK, known for its strict rules regarding the age rating of video games. Earlier in early August, Tez2 already reported on Rockstar Games' plans to implement a similar system, which is now confirmed by published materials from the game.
