Take-Two Confirms BioShock 4 Despite Development Struggles

Take-Two President Strauss Zelnick has categorically denied rumors about the possible cancellation of BioShock 4 in an interview with IGN, stating that the project will definitely be released.

According to Zelnick, the developers are facing serious challenges, trying to simultaneously preserve the legacy of series creator Ken Levine and offer something superior to previous parts of the franchise. The executive acknowledged the presence of problems in production, including a change in management and the need to rework the concept, but emphasized the company's determination to bring the project to release.

Earlier in August, journalist Jason Schreier reported serious problems in development - after an unsuccessful internal review, some of the executives left the project, and the storyline was significantly reworked.
