Rockstar Games is actively involved in the development of Max Payne 1&2 remakes
During the half-year financial report, Remedy Entertainment revealed new details about the progress of work on the remakes of the cult shooters Max Payne 1 and 2. As it turned out, Rockstar Games, the creator of the third part of the series, has officially joined the project. If initially the company only financed the development, now both studios are closely collaborating on the reimagining of the classics. In the official statement, Remedy emphasizes the productivity of their joint work, noting the coordination of all stages of development between the partners.

Rockstar Games' exact contribution to the project has not yet been disclosed, as well as the release date. It is known that the remakes will be released on PC and next-generation consoles. This collaboration brings together the original creators of the franchise (Remedy) and the studio that developed the series (Rockstar), which inspires hope for a high-quality reimagining of the legendary action games while preserving their spirit. The project is expected to receive modern graphics and improved gameplay while maintaining the signature atmosphere of a noir action movie.
