SEGA unveils Football Manager 26 after previous installment cancelled
Just a few months after Football Manager 25 was cancelled due to development problems, SEGA has announced the next installment in the famous series, Football Manager 26. The company explained the previous decision by refusing to release an unfinished product, preferring to focus on the new project.
The announcement took place via a short teaser created on the Unity engine, but specific gameplay details and a release date remain unknown. Traditionally, the Football Manager series offers players a deep football club management system with a realistic transfer system, training process and tactical options.
Despite the interruption of the tradition of annual releases, which lasted for two decades (and taking into account the predecessor Championship Manager - more than thirty years), the developers promise that Football Manager 26 will retain all the key features of the franchise.
