Ubisoft Announces Major DLC The Division 2: Survivors

Ubisoft has officially announced the development of a major expansion, The Division 2: Survivors, for its 2019 multiplayer service game. Led by franchise veteran Magnus Jansen, the project will introduce a fundamentally new extraction mode and change the game environment by introducing snowy locations. Development is at an early stage, but Massive Entertainment has already announced its readiness to work closely with the community to improve the content.

In parallel, Ubisoft announced long-term support for the main game, publishing a roadmap with plans until 2026. The Survivors expansion is expected to be released during the same period, although the exact dates have not yet been determined. The studio also called on players to actively participate in testing the mobile version of The Division: Resurgence, the closed tests of which will start in September.
