Gears of War: Reloaded Remastered Released With Complete Visual Update

The Coalition and Xbox Game Studios have released an updated version of the legendary action game Gears of War, subtitled Reloaded. The title is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PS5, including a Game Pass subscription. The project includes all the content from the original with additional maps, heroes and a bonus campaign act, but has received significant visual improvements.

The visuals have been completely modernized with improved models and textures in 4K resolution, an advanced lighting system, shadows and reflections. Support for modern technologies has been added, including HDR, Dolby Vision, VRR and ultra-wide monitors. The network mode has received cross-platform play and progress synchronization, and users are offered a choice between modern and classic control schemes. The remaster preserves the original plot about the confrontation between humanity and the Locust race on the planet Sera, but presents it in a technically perfect form.
