AYN Odin 3 Will Be the First Portable Console with Snapdragon 8 Elite

AYN has announced the flagship portable console Odin 3, which will be the first device on the Android platform with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The new product will receive a 6-inch AMOLED screen with an exclusive panel for the manufacturer and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which is a significant improvement over the 60 Hz IPS display in the previous model Odin 2.

To ensure stable operation of the powerful chipset, the console has an improved cooling system. While maintaining the battery capacity at 8000 mAh, the weight of the device has been reduced by about 30 grams. In parallel, the company is preparing to release a dual-screen Thor model based on Snapdragon 865/8 Gen 2 priced from $ 249, while the price of the flagship Odin 3 will be announced later. Both devices should go on sale before the end of the year.
