Experts Call Grand Theft Auto VI the First AAAAA Game in History

Some representatives of the gaming industry believe that GTA 6 can be attributed to a new, unprecedented category of AAAAA projects. This opinion was expressed by the co-founder of Devolver Digital Nigel Lowry, who noted that the game significantly surpasses other titles in scale, audience attention and cultural influence. His point of view was supported by the head of the marketing platform Gamesight Adam Lieb.

According to Lieb, the release of GTA VI is so important that even the largest publishers adjust their release plans taking into account the launch date of the new Rockstar project, regardless of the genre of their projects. Particular attention is paid to GTA Online: if, for example, horror servers appear in the online mode, they can pull some users away from independent games of the same genre.

Experts suggest that GTA VI will also have its own online mode, but it remains unclear at this time how exactly Rockstar will implement the transition of players from the current GTA Online to the new version - and whether it will be provided at all.
