Gearbox CEO Says Borderlands 4 Will Be Unplayable on Weak PCs
Randy Pitchford, the head of Gearbox, commented on the concerns of players about the optimization of Borderlands 4 on computers. According to him, owners of systems whose characteristics do not reach the minimum requirements should not count on comfortable gameplay.

He emphasized that along with the release, the project will receive a day one patch designed to improve stability and optimization, but do not expect miracles - on weak PCs, this will not make the game smooth. Pitchford added that such a situation is typical for the industry: large-scale next-generation projects cannot fully operate on outdated equipment.
The plot of the fourth part will unfold on the planet Kairos, where the Vault Hunters will face a cruel dictator known as the Guardian of Time. Borderlands 4 will be released on September 12 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the game will be available with Russian subtitles.
