Insider suggests that GTA 6 release may be postponed to a more favorable time

Journalist and insider Tom Henderson doubted that the GTA VI release date set for May 2026 would be optimal. In his opinion, Rockstar is capable of postponing the premiere again for better commercial benefits.

In the Insider Gaming podcast, Henderson explained that May is traditionally not considered a good month for major releases, while October and the period leading up to the winter holidays bring publishers much more profit. He emphasized that this is only his personal reasoning, and not data from sources within the studio, so speculation about a possible postponement is inappropriate for now.

According to official data, GTA VI should be released on May 26, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. There is still no information about the release of the PC version.
