Atari Unveils $179 Gamestation Go Retro Portable Console
Atari is preparing to release the Gamestation Go portable retro console, created in collaboration with the My Arcade brand. The device combines a modern case with branded controls and already contains a pre-installed library of more than 200 games. Among them are updated versions of Missile Command: Recharged, Berzerk: Recharged, Asteroids: Recharged and Breakout: Recharged, as well as the iconic Pac-Man and Balls of Steel. In addition, the console is loaded with hits from the Atari 2600, 5200 and 7800 era, as well as arcade projects from machines.
Gamestation Go is equipped with a 7-inch screen and an original controller, which has a built-in rotary knob and digital block. For convenience, a SmartGlow backlight system is provided, automatically highlighting the buttons and controls needed in a particular game. The built-in battery provides four to five hours of battery life.
The device will retail for $179 in the US, with first shipments expected to begin in October 2025.
