Battlefield 6 creators reveal rules of the battle royale with an emphasis on destruction and the death zone
Even before its release, Battlefield 6 caused a stir and strengthened Electronic Arts' position in the market, and one of the main features of the new part will be a separate battle royale mode, access to which will be free. The developers shared details and outlined the key mechanics that should distinguish the project from its competitors.
One hundred players will be able to fight on the map, united in twenty-five squads. The gameplay is based on the classic principles of the genre: a huge territory with various zones for obtaining equipment, the ability to set up ambushes and use the space for tactical maneuvers. A distinctive feature will be the destruction system and access to transport, allowing you to change the situation right during the battle.

The creators noted that the mode retains the signature Battlefield class system with unique gadgets. The fighter will be pumped up as you complete tasks during the match, which will add depth and allow you to vary the style of play. Particular attention is paid to the shrinking zone: it was called the deadliest in the history of the genre, since any touch leads to the instant death of the character.
The developers did not name the exact launch date of the mode, but reliable sources claim that it will be conditionally free and will follow the path of Call of Duty: Warzone.
