Kratos in Egypt: Insider reveals details of the new God of War

Debate continues over the exact location of the next God of War game, but renowned insider Tom Henderson has provided some new information. According to him, Kratos will travel to Ancient Egypt, where he will encounter the local pantheon. This time, the familiar axe will be replaced by the curved khopesh blade, characteristic of Egyptian warriors. This information indirectly confirms that Kratos, rather than Atreus, will once again be the protagonist of the new game, something that has remained a topic of debate among fans since the ending of Ragnarok.

While the game hasn't been officially announced yet, its imminent release is entirely logical: three years have passed since Ragnarok's release, and Santa Monica Studios is likely working on a sequel. The possibility of seeing Kratos in battle against Anubis, Set, Thoth, and other gods of Egyptian mythology has long excited the imagination of series fans.
