Despite reports that Nokia-branded devices are ending production, insider sources indicate that the brand is still alive. According to PTInews, HMD has extended its licensing agreement and intends to produce Nokia-branded feature phones for another two to three years.

India will remain the company's primary market, accounting for almost a quarter of all Nokia-branded device shipments in terms of volume and over 30% of revenue. At the same time, HMD will gradually shift its focus to developing its own lines of smartphones, tablets, and other gadgets to reduce its dependence on Nokia.


Representatives from both companies have not yet made any official statements on this matter.
