The publisher expects up to 20 million copies of GTA 6 sold in the first 24 hours.
Take-Two is preparing for the massive launch of Grand Theft Auto 6 and, according to insider Millie A, is predicting sales of 18-20 million copies in the first 24 hours after release. These expectations are based on impressive pre-orders on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and retail.
If the title sells 18 million copies in one day, sales could reach 25-28 million by the end of the first month, and if 20 million copies are sold, the launch month would bring in 30-34 million. With the support of a large-scale advertising campaign, stable shipments, and timely online updates, the final figure could reach 35-38 million, putting the project on track for absolute industry records.

The main limiting factor at launch will be the lack of a PC version, which will defer the purchase of the crime action game to some audiences. But even the most minimal forecasts suggest that GTA 6 could potentially be the fastest-selling entertainment product in history at the time of its release.
