Blackwood, an action film about a DVD salesman who becomes a killer by night, has been announced.
AttritoM7 Productions, known for the tactical shooter Zero Hour, has unveiled a new third-person action game called Blackwood. Set in 2012 New York City, the game's atmosphere and visual style are clearly inspired by the John Wick films.
The game's protagonist is Anton Blackwood, the owner of a small DVD store who leads a double life. During the day, he goes about his daily business and tries to maintain the appearance of an ordinary person, but at night, he transforms into a professional assassin living by his own strict rules.
The developers are focusing on dynamic shootouts, where players can combine acrobatic stunts with precise marksmanship. Particular attention is paid to spectacular finishing moves and the use of the environment in combat. In addition to the action, Blackwood will also feature a mundane element: during the day, the player can manage the store, upgrade their home, customize their appearance, and interact with others. According to the developers, these episodes will feature light RPG elements.
Blackwood is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2026. Currently, the game is only available for PC.
