Duolingo will present the anime "The Final Test" about Duo the owl and his team.

Educational platform Duolingo has announced the release of its anime series "The Final Test". The five-episode miniseries will premiere on October 13, 2025, on the company's official YouTube channel. All episodes will also be available directly in the Duolingo app.

The anime, timed to coincide with the launch of its updated Japanese language learning program, tells a new story about the famous owl Duo and his team. In the story, the characters, formerly ordinary people, unite to inspire students to learn languages. However, they soon face a series of challenges, the outcome of which will determine not only their own fates but also the success of millions of users around the world.
