Rapper Skrilla has confirmed that his track will be featured on the GTA 6 soundtrack.

American artist Skrilla announced that one of his compositions will appear in the upcoming action film. On Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast, the musician revealed that Rockstar will add his hit "Doot Doot" (6 7), which gained popularity as an online meme, to the game. The song, closely associated with the so-called "brainrot culture," has gained widespread popularity on social media, making its choice for the soundtrack rather unexpected.

Skrilla noted that he will now have the opportunity to hear his music in a game he frequently plays. He says he plays a lot of GTA Online, preferring to roleplay as himself.

This is not the first time artists have hinted at contributing to the soundtrack for the latest installment in the series. Previously, Grammy-winning producer Jermaine Dupri and rapper Schoolboy Q stated that Rockstar had invited them to collaborate on the project. While the studio hasn't officially confirmed this information, musicians' interest in GTA 6 is only fueling anticipation for the upcoming release.
