Ubisoft has released Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow on Steam, 21 years after its original release.

Ubisoft unexpectedly added the stealth action game Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, originally released in March 2004, to Steam. Judging by the release timing, the company timed the return of the classic game to coincide with the premiere of the animated series Splinter Cell: Deathwatch.

The re-release was released without Russian localization, but is accompanied by a 40% discount: the game is available for $5.99 until October 28th. The story continues to center on agent Sam Fisher, who must stop Indonesian warlord Suhadi Sadono, who threatens to release a deadly smallpox virus into the United States.

The main feature of Pandora Tomorrow is its unique multiplayer mode, where players are divided into two opposing camps – the Argus mercenaries and the Shadownet spies. The former engage in first-person combat, while the latter utilize stealth and techniques familiar from the single-player campaign.
